Food Packaging
Oji F-Tex makes various basic paper materials for use in food packaging, including containers for drinks, yogurt and ice cream, and wrapping paper for use in fast food outlets.
As well as complying with laws and regulations on food safety, we also impose proper management in line with our own independent standards, and strive to confirm safety based on reinforcing our company-wide quality management system. These products can be used with complete reassurance.

Cup base paper

Purpose: Food Packaging Using all fresh pulp, these products are characterized by low levels of impurity and odor. They also have broad basis weight compatibility, ranging from 140 to 450g / m2. Coating specifications to improve printing effects are also available. |

Acid-resistant cup base paper

Glassine and shaped glassine

Purpose: Food Packaging Made from carefully selected pulp, this is a product with excellent transparency. As it is used for foods, cakes, medical treatments, etc., we apply particularly rigorous impurity control using an impurity detector, and supply to a wide range of sectors. |

Food separate paper

Purpose: Food Packaging Used as liner paper when making steamed bread, steamed meat buns, cakes, etc. Peelable parts can be combined with non-peelable parts to give just the right release property when removing paper from food, while tertiary processes such as printing and punch formation are also possible. |

DREEP (parchment paper)

Purpose: Food Packaging Treating the base paper with sulfuric acid gives it a unique semi-transparent appearance, while its other properties include oil resistance, water resistance, aroma retention, high tensile strength and surface strength. This product is used for a variety of purposes, including food contact and fancy paper. |

Alphan film wrap

Purpose: Food Packaging Oji Alphan is an OPP wrapping film with excellent transparency, barrier properties and processability. These lend it to use in a variety of fields, including wrapping for food or textiles, lamination for printing, overlaps, and heat sealing film (automatic packaging). Besides these, we also use Oji F-Tex’s unique inline composite technology to develop and manufacture specialist films tailored to customers’ needs. |

Base paper for fruit bags

Purpose: Food Packaging / Manufacturing, Agriculture & Industrial Materials These are bags used to protect fruit and other produce during cultivation. Simple gravure printing is also possible, adding water repellence that can be retained over the lengthy growing period until harvesting. Specifications can be changed (white, unbleached color, special features) in accordance with the type and characteristics of the fruit. |
